What Is A Digital Planner?

A digital planner is a PDF document designed to function like a traditional paper planner, but on digital devices such as iPads, tablets, phones, or laptops using a PDF annotation app. Although it's in a digital format, it often resembles a paper planner with tab dividers and includes hyperlinks that link various pages for easy navigation. Clicking these hyperlinks will instantly take you to the desired page, much like flipping through paper dividers.

Digital planners offer extensive customization options. You can write or type notes, highlight text, add digital stickers, shapes, and colors, and undo or erase changes effortlessly-without any mess.

Steps to get started

It’s as simple as…

  • Step 1

You need an iPad or tablet and a stylus. You can use any tablet that has the ability to write or type on. However, I do love my iPad and Apple Pencil so I have to recommend it. Try out my freebie planner to see if your device is compatible for digital planning.
